5 Tips To Help You Stop Snoring Tonight

Did you recognize that there are proven strategies to assist you stop snoring immediately? No additional restless nights. No a lot of arguments along with your spouse or sleeping in separate rooms. Individuals who snore are all too familiar with these situations, but it doesn’t have to continue.

Tip 1
Eliminate the presence of dust, pet hair and cigarette smoke from your home. These types of allergens create it difficult to breathe and particularly bothersome for individuals who have been diagnosed with allergies. When breathing becomes difficult, air passages are restricted and this ends up in snoring. Lying down in the dead of night can make these issues worse, therefore it’s best to rid your home of allergens and continually use air filtration units in each room of the house, particularly within the bedroom.

Tip 2
Use an anti-snoring device, like the Sleep Genie from Odyssey Direct Solutions, Inc. This product is doctor tested and approved. It’s made of a nylon lycra mix thus that it fits comfy on the head and below the jaw. Comfortably supporting the jaw whereas keeping the mouth closed during sleep is it’s primary goal. People who sleep with their mouth closed do not have the flexibility to snore, which is why the Sleep Genie is a product that has former-snoring sufferers snoozing without a peep.

Tip 3
Sleep on your side rather than your back. Studies show that people who sleep on their back are additional likely to snore than those that are side or abdomen sleepers.

Tip four
If you suffer from allergies, sinus infections or are diagnosed with a cold or the flu, strive inhaling steam from hot running water before bedtime. This can facilitate to open up the air passages naturally and permit you to breathe easier, which could scale back snoring

Tip 5
Try using 2 standard pillows rather than one. Along with your head elevated slightly, your air passages could not become as restricted. Typically, passages become blocked when fatty tissue within the throat relaxes and makes it difficult to breath. Snoring is usually the result, but having an additional pillow might facilitate to curb the problem.

I just heard from my friend Christian Goodman who has a brilliant exercise program which cures snoring. Even after eight years and 130,000 sales it’s still one of the best selling natural health guides out there.

I mean how fantastic is it when someone can cure his or her snoring sometimes literally over night using simple, effortless exercises that take as little as three minutes.

Anyway since Christian’s once again heading over to Perth Australia where it all began (read more about that from the link below), I thought it would also be nice to give him a mention!

Take a look at the site below and you’ll see just how good it is.

Hello Everyone…

I’m just back from the pool and feeling self righteous as I’ve just done my daily mile swim yet again. I’m working hard to lose a few pounds for the summer so I’ve upped my usual one kilometre to a mile instead. I’m Spinning twice a week too and together with my eating more sensibly the pounds are just melting away. I don’t starve myself but just stop eating the rubbish I normally eat. The only thing I miss is eating peanut butter out of the jar!

Anyway, enough of that… I’m supposed to be writing about snoring cures!

I thought it was about time I gave you all an update on hubby’s snoring as it’s been quite a while now since I thrust the My Snoring Solution into his clammy little hands, much to his surprise!

Sometimes hubby goes to bed before me as he has to get up early in the morning and there have been occasions when he’s not remembered to use his jaw support. I’m much too nice, as you know, to wake him up to put it on, but I’ve been surprised to find that he’s still had a snore free night. We’re coming to the conclusion that My Snoring Solution trains him to keep his mouth closed … now if only I can get him to wear it during the day!

So … If you suffer the way I used to, listening to your partner snoring the night away, then it’s time you did something about it and got yourself one of these brilliant devices that made such a change to my life.

Get My Snoring Solution now!

Take care until next time and sleep safe.

I just found an interesting article at Suite101 by Brooke Adams called Prevent Snoring. Thought you might be interested.

Take a look …

How To Get a Better Night’s Sleep

Snoring affects both the person in question, as well as their partner. Here are some ways to prevent snoring and get a better night’s rest.

According to the National Sleep Foundation, 37 million Americans suffer from snoring. This affects potentially twice that number of people, if their partners are included in the number. Snoring can cause daytime fatigue in both the sufferer and his or her partner. It can also cause rifts in relationships if one person has habitual trouble sleeping. Some couples even resort to sleeping in separate rooms, which can be harmful to a relationship’s intimacy.

Blissful sleep

Prevent Snoring with Lifestyle Changes

Losing weight may help prevent snoring. Excess weight constricts the airway, causing the soft tissues at the back of the mouth and throat to vibrate together and producing the snoring sound. Improving fitness level overall–specifically increasing muscle tone–also lessens the propensity to snore.

Reducing substance use is also a helpful lifestyle change. Limiting alcohol before bedtime can reduce snoring, as alcohol and other sedatives relax the airway. Additionally, quitting smoking will loosen chest congestion and likely end snoring.

Alter Sleeping Patterns

Sleeping on the side is the best position for a silent night’s sleep. Sleeping on the back or stomach constricts the airway. Educators recommend this method to train yourself not to sleep on your back: Place a tennis ball or other small, round object in an old sock or piece of cloth, and pin it to the back of your pyjamas. This will prevent any rolling onto the back during the night. Elevating the head of the bed may also reduce snoring.

Test Products to Reduce Snoring

There are many snore-reducing products on the market that may provide relief. Nose strips reduce nasal or sinus congestion. Mouthpieces or jaw supporters may reposition the tongue and jaw to prevent the soft tissues at the back of the mouth from vibrating and causing the snoring sound. Specially shaped pillows can reposition the neck and head in order to reduce snoring.

When to See a Doctor for a Snoring Problem

If none of these solutions help, or if you or your partner notice that breath pauses during sleep, followed by a loud snore or choking sound, sleep apnea may be the culprit. This is a very serious condition that can cause high blood pressure, lead to heart failure, and cause excessive daytime fatigue.

Implementing these lifestyle changes and alterations in sleep habits, as well as testing out products meant to reduce snoring, will hopefully result in a better, deeper night’s sleep for you and your partner.

Until next time … take it easy and have sweet dreams.
